So your family is trying to decide on a fun, wholesome family adventure where everybody can get involved and have a good time. Will you choose the Grand Canyon? Perhaps Disneyland? Or maybe even visit some historic swath of America?

Now might be a great time to consider a vacation to Europe. There you will find many world famous historical sites that you and your children have read about, beautiful sandy beaches, and unique countryside landscapes. The cost of all this can be very affordable if you act soon.

Start by planning ahead so you will save the most money without giving up the fun. Shop around for discounted airline tickets. There is no sense paying for overpriced travel when you can fly for less. Remember to plan in advance and look for the good deals.

When in Europe do as the Europeans do and save. Map out your own tour route to all the major cities and enjoy the adventure on your own schedule. Offer less that the ticket price for hotels, you might get some really great rooms for less than the cheaper hotels that way.

There are so many things to do in Europe, you and your family will be very busy! You can visit one of the many famous cathedrals and museums and teach your children about the emergence of Western culture. Or you can delve into the European countryside and explore a taste of the Old World.

You and your partner will find charm and romance in locations you have only heard about for years. Visit a romantic vista in Italy, glide down the canals of Venice, and capture a view of Paris the “City of Lights”.

When planning a European vacation, keep in mind that not everything you do has to be exotic. For instance, did you know that Europe has the presence of Disney, right in the middle of France? This place can offer you and your family a fun, familiar environment to explore Europe and American culture melding together.

So when you plan your next vacation, remember that you could go to Europe for about the same cost as a trip in the States. You just need to do some planning and shop around for the bargains. It could be your best vacation yet!
