It was a good recipe and my kids loved it, but I had to add about twice as much water so the meat and pasta wouldn’t burn.

I don’t know what I did wrong but this was not good. The extra water made the sauce lack flavor and seemed to make the pasta more mushy. I cooked the pasta separate and added it in at the very end. My gut told me not to add the full amount of pasta water. If I ever make this again I’ll use only 1/2 cup max.

Added some mild Italian sausage.
Turned out great. Was hit for even my picky eaters

We add Italian sausage for an extra kick. It’s so good. It’s the only meal I make that BOTH kids agree on and cheer when I make it.
