There are so many fun variations you can do with a baked potato, and this is one of my favorites! There’s hardly any prep to it, it’s cheap, it fills you up, and tastes delicious! Something about the combination of broccoli, ham and cheese is delicious, right? My mouth is watering.
A perfectly baked potato, loaded with fresh broccoli and ham and topped with a cheesy bechamel sauce!

- 3/4 cup milk
- salt and freshly ground black pepper , to taste
- 1 cup freshly grated sharp cheddar cheese

Easy and perfect post holiday ham meal!!
This meal was really good also. We loved how the potatoes were fixed and for the broccoli I put it in our steamer instead of a pot. We will start fixing our baked potatoes like this for now on.
Delicious! My husband and I are macro counters so we opted to have everything on the side and assemble on our own when we were ready to eat. We both ended up doing the broccoli on the side but he mashed his potato and mixed everything together anyway. Regardless of how you eat it, these flavors go so well together and it was such an easy meal!
The cheese sauce was tasty, simple, and going with a homemade cheese sauce as opposed to a can of nacho cheese means that we are able to avoid all the nasty additives to the super fake stuff.
This was a really easy and yummy dinner that my family loved. Thanks!
