Cornflake Wreaths are one of my favorite easy Christmas treats, made with just a few ingredients including cornflakes, marshmallows and butter.

Of all of my Christmas recipes, these Cornflake Wreaths are most dear to me because I made them every single year with my mom and sister. They’re as easy and fun to make with kids, or your family, as they are to eat, and the ingredients are few and simple!

How to make Cornflake Wreaths:
- Measure corn flakes into a large bowl.
- Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat. Once melted, add the marshmallows and stir continuously until completely melted. Stir in food coloring.
- Pour melted marshmallow mixture over the corn flakes and stir until well coated.
- Lay out a piece of parchment paper on your kitchen counter. Dollop spoonfuls of the cornflake mixture onto the parchment paper.

- Grease your (clean) hands with butter or cooking spray, or dip them in a little bit of water. Use your fingers to shape each mound into a wreath, then top each cinnamon candies.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week, or freeze for up to 3 months.

They were so fun to make and tasted delicious!!
Took a stab at these. They were cute and fun! Sent them as a treat for kids Christmas party at school.
I made these using 4 cups Cornflakes and 2 cups fruity pebbles with marshmallows. It gave them depth and a little color. I also used gummy butterflies for wreath ‘bows’ instead of red hots and used dusting sugar for an iced look. Thanks for the inspiration!
What a fun recipe! I love that it’s simple enough to get my kids involved. 😊 We used mini M&M’s for the ornaments instead of cinnamon candies.
Made the cookies and they were so yummy! A quick and easy recipe. My kids loved helping out! They basically did the whole thing. Thanks for the recipe! We’ll be making every year now.
Great recipe! Made 12 big wreaths for me. I also like to stir in a little vanilla with the food coloring. Thanks for the delicious cookies!
We loved making these as a family! Everyone can help and everyone loves to eat them.
I remember my Aunt Teena making up this recipe in the 1950’s or even before as I remember being little and eating as many as I could get away with.
Her recipe also includes two other ingredient. No one has yet to figure that out. I prefer to keep it a secret in her memory. You can wear oiled tight gloves so your hands don’t turn green.
It’s funny I have not seen anything close to this pop up on the web until just 5 years ago. I make them ever year for over 35 yrs now.
Love the idea of the oiled gloves! And how fun that she had another secret ingredient in there! I’m glad this has been a tradition in your family too!
