Located in the northern region, Taba Egypt rests along the Gulf of Aqaba in the Red Sea. Bordering Israel, it is the perfect weekend getaway for residents and visitors of both Egypt and Israel.
Discussing hotels is not really all that exciting, so allow me to introduce some fun stuff for you to do. I will only name a few of the many things you could do, because I don’t want to spoil all the surprises.
An impressive monument east of the Sinai peninsula is Castle Zaman. This memorial lies on the age old road between St Catherin’s Monastery and Jerusalem. The view from here is breath taking – mountains stretching into four different countries as far as the eye can see. If it’s food you are after, Zaman won’t disappoint – their stew made with meat and vegetables, with figs and dates is famous. But don’t be in a hurry, it takes a couple of hours to prepare.
Taba Egypt has plenty of things to do and see while you are there. The clear, unpolluted waters of the Gulf of Aqaba contain sea life that is second to none around the globe. You can enjoy a few hours at the beach, and then meander through the cafes and shops after a beach side lunch.
The next logical stop for attractions would be the Castle Zaman. This is a perfect place for couples to go and see Egypt’s neighboring countries from mountainous stronghold of days gone by. This attraction, while fun and beautiful, is not recommended for children. Other than the obvious, the castle also attracts people by offering a restaurant, lodging, a pool and a very well maintained bar all within the walls of the castle.
Lastly, you might take up some clubs and hit the greens of the Three Corners El Wakela Resort. This resort provides a challenging course for golfers of all skill types and maintains a majestic setting from hole one to eighteen. This brief article may not be enough to do Taba, Egypt justice. If you are looking for some really interesting settings for some once in a lifetime experiences, then you should put Taba on your list.
