The purpose of this article is to help you fill your leisure time intelligently! Are you unsure of where to spend your vacation time? With available cheap airfares it could be anywhere but please let me help a bit!

London is always a stellar vacation destination. The city is filled with nearly endless tourist attractions, whether you visit Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, or the London Eye. You can even try to break through the rigid composure of the guards at Buckingham Palace. You would find any of these are quite enjoyable and staying in one of the luxurious London hotels will make it even that much better.

France is the world’s premier tourist location, and for good reason. It houses Versailles, the palace built by Louis XIV and inhabited by Marie-Antoinette, Louis XVI, and Napoleon. I have heard time and again how truly breathtaking Versailles is and I would recommend seeing it strongly.

Other exciting French destinations can be the Eiffel Tower, the cathedral of Notre Dame, and the Louvre. At the Louvre, you should pay special attention to I.M. Peias beautiful yet controversial glass pyramid that adorns the front of the museum.

If you’re looking for a more tropical resort, I can strongly recommend the Central American country Belize, which is host to a myriad of things to do. Aside from relaxing on the beach, you can go snorkeling or scuba diving, cave tubing through underground streams, or go visit ancient Mayan ruins.

There is also the more well-known vacation mecca of Cozumel, Mexico. Here you can find tranquility by swimming with the dolphins or just relaxing on the pristine beaches. There are also plenty of open spaces you can hike through on your way to visit the Punta Sur Lighthouse.

If you want a place thatas perfect for you and your children, try Washington, D.C. The sites there are endless, from the National Air and Space Museum to the Capitol Building, from the Smithsonian to the White House. You might also like to see the National Mall and stand in the same spot Martin Luther King, Jr. stood when he gave his well-known aI Have a Dreama speech.

New York City is another stellar vacation destination. There is always something to do at any time of the day, including visiting the Empire State Building or the Statue of Liberty. You could also visits any of the cityas many museums or enjoy a show on Broadway. And donat forget to catch a riveting game of baseball at Yankee Stadium!
