Why I love this recipe:

Best way to cook meatballs: they cook quickly and have the perfect texture.

Meal Prep: The meatballs are freezer friendly and can reheat from frozen in the air fryer. Great for meal prep lunch buddah bowls, or to quickly throw together Swedish Meatballs or Green Curry Meatballs.

How to cook Raw Meatballs in Air Fryer:

Mix Ingredients: Add all meatball ingredients EXCEPT the meat. Stir and rest for 10 minutes so the crackers can soak up the liquid. Add the meat and mix just until combined (don’t over mix).

All of the ingredients needed to make the best air fryer meatballs: ground beef, egg, crackers, spices, beef broth, and flour.

Form Meatballs: Scoop meat mixture into 15 meatballs, about the size of golf balls, then gently sprinkle them all around with flour.

Two baking pans with parchment paper with 12 meatballs before and after flour is dusted on them.

Air Fry: Preheat air fryer if needed then spray basket with cooking spray and add meatballs in one layer leaving a little space between each. Air fry for 9-11 minutes or until cooked through. Rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Make Ahead and Freezing Instructions:

To Make Ahead: These homemade air fryer meatballs can be made and shaped one day ahead of time (depending on the freshness of the meat). Keep in an airtight container in the fridge then cook when you’re ready.

To Freeze: for uncooked meatballs, “flash freeze” on a cookie sheet first to prevent them from sticking together. Both cooked and uncooked meatballs freeze well in an airtight container for up to 3 months. Reheat in the air fryer.

Air Fryer French Toast served on a plate, with one being dipped in a little bowl of syrup.

Why I love this recipe:

  • Air Fryer – French Toast made in the air fryer give it the perfect crisp on the outside, but soft on the inside texture. Check out all of my air fryer recipes and let me show you how to use it!
  • Freezer Friendly – This recipe is a twist on my popular Classic French Toast, but I like the air fryer version even better! Feel free to make a large batch and freeze the leftovers; they reheat well in the air fryer.
  • Kid Approved – We love to cut the bread into french toast sticks, which are easy and fun to eat.

How to Make Air Fryer French Toast:

Make Batter: Add all of the ingredients, except the bread, to a shallow dish and whisk well to combine (or add to a blender and blend until smooth).

All of the ingredients for french toast in a shallow dish, with pieces of bread cut into thirds for easy french toast sticks.

Dip: Cut each slice of bread into three pieces/sticks (or you can leave the bread slices whole, if you’d like). Spray the fry basket with non stick spray before each batch. Dip each piece of bread into the egg mixture, dredging well on both sides, and then place in the fry basket, leaving a little space between each one and laying them in a single later.  Be careful not to overcrowd them or they will not get crispy. (You may need to cook them in 3-4 batches, depending on the size of your air fryer).

Air Fry at 350 degrees F for 4 minutes then flip them over (separating them from each other if they stick together) and cook for 3-4 more minutes.

Serve air fryer french toast with homemade syrup or maple syrup, breakfast potatoes or a green smoothie.

A delicious french toast stick recipe, all on a plate ready to enjoy.

Recipe Variations:

  • Cinnamon Sugar French Toast Sticks: Mix ⅓ cup sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon in a shallow dish.  Dip French toast sticks in batter and then in cinnamon sugar, coating both sides. Air fry as directed.
  • Brioche French Toast, or Challah Bread: Cut loaf into thick slices. Add 2-3 minutes to the cook time, if needed.
  • Crunchy French Toast: Press the outside of battered bread slices into crushed cornflakes or rice krispies cereal before adding to the air fryer.

Make Ahead And Freezing Instructions:

To Make Ahead: The batter can be made a day ahead of time, stored in the fridge.

To Freeze: Allow air fryer french toast to cool completely. Place in freezer safe bag or container then freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat from frozen in air fryer for 3 minutes on 1 side then 2 minutes on the other, at 400 degrees.

Why I love these crispy breakfast potatoes:

  • Roast in the Oven – Less mess and monitoring, and keeps your stove clear to make eggs, french toast, crepes, or pancakes.

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  • Add brussels sprouts and broccolini to a large mixing bowl, drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper. Spread onto baking sheet and cook for 12 minutes, tossing once during cooking.
  • Prepare Salmon: Remove skin from salmon, if necessary, and cut into uniform 1-inch cubes. Add salmon to a bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika, gently tossing to coat.
  • Remove vegetables from oven and push to one side of the pan.
  • Add salmon to the other side and drizzle 1 ½ Tablespoons hot honey over salmon and veggies. Return to oven for about 8 minutes, or until salmon flakes gently when touched with a fork (about 140 degrees).
  • Spoon rice into bowls and portion out a big scoop of salmon and veggies on top. Drizzle with desired additional hot honey sauce and a little drizzle of ranch.
